This is not an average backpackers by any means. One does feel like one is at an up market resort rather than a backpackers' hostel. We opted for the self-catering cottage option, and found it very comfortable. Some in our party didn't like the rather dark showers with their odd cobbled floors and voyeuristic baboon spiders, but the lovely grounds and pleasant swimming area made up for the showers. I'd go back again.
