Quite easy to get to. Take the bus line 1 and get off at Salzberg. From there walk in the direction the bus was travelling, and on the right hand side there is a sign to the hostel about 200m from the stop.
On arrival, the member of staff (possibly the owner and only member of staff there) was very helpful and even showed us round personally. He was friendly but perhaps slightly intrusive at times as he was watching and waiting for people to either leave or go to breakfast in the morning. He did kindly recommend a cheap bar/restaurant just opposite the hostel though.
This hostel was pretty quiet on arrival and has a kind of school gym feel to it. The common room doubled up as a breakfast room so wasn't really very cosy. Breakfast itself was basic, but adequate. It was however quite early (till 9.30) although the owner joked we could come later but the coffee would be cold.
The rooms themselves were a little run down and quite cold. After having the heating on full blast for a few hours, it seemed to have made no difference. Each room had a sink and wardrobe area, but no lockers. Bathrooms again were adequate but a little run down. The showers were hot though and there were separate cubicle areas.
Overall, not much of an atmosphere but for a nights stay not too bad
