A small hostel located about a kilometer from the train station. It isn't very close to the train station or the main toursist sites. There are only a few rooms, around 6 beds per room (combination of bunkbeds and regular beds) with guys and girls in separate rooms. There is one bathrooms for guys and one for girls. There is a small sitting area outside in the back. The overall cleanliness of it is about average. Unfortunately, the staff are somewhat unfriendly.

I cannot recommend this hostel to single or double travellers. I had made a reservation for a single room and they actually have no single rooms at the hostel, only dorms. First they try to persuade you to take a dorm bed and if not they ship you over to another one of their hostels (Sunshine 3), which is further away and much poorer. This happened to me on a very hot day and after a long walk to hostel nr. 1. This hostel nr. 3 has no security (they say they have a twenty-four-hour reception --that's a lie!) and tiny rooms. The rooms have televisions but there are no common facilities, not even a fridge. The beds and the toilet were clean. Rome has much better places where you can stay for the same price!

The rooms and beds in this hostel are comfortable and clean. If you are travelling in a group of three then it is just as good as a hotel room because dorms are three beds. My only complaint is that the dorm I was in had a man who snored like an elephant, he snored and laugh-snored, and scream-snored. The hostel is easy to find from the main train station.

This is a very good hostel. The receptionist is very friendly, the rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. It has a very good atmosphere. I would stay here again.

DEFINITE NO GO. For the amount of money we paid for a double room at this hostel you would have thought they would be able to provide hot water for all of the guests. One morning out of three I was able to have a hot shower. Not only this but during most of the stay the single toilet was blocked and unusable. This resulted in a rather disgusting stench floating down the hallway.
