The Hostelz.com Review
Lotusland Hostel is a great place to stay, specially if you are heading to or coming from Vietnam!
The Location
The hostel is located walking distance from the train station. You can catch bus number 213 if you are arriving to Langdong Long-Distance Bus, and buses 31 or 21 if you are arriving to Jiangnan Long Distance Bus Station. There are many shopping areas around, you can walk to a supermarket or shopping centre, and there are many restaurants and places to eat around.
Rooms and Bathrooms
Bathrooms are just outstanding -- really hot showers with great water pressure, and they look like five-star hotel showers, really nice design and very clean! There are toilets for females and for males and also for both. The rooms are a little small but very clean they even smell like a doctor's office when you walk -- in that is how clean they are! They have a night lamp to read and air conditioning for the hot weather!
Common Spaces
There is a really nice living room and TV area, where you can watch you favourite TV show from home, play some Wii, or watch a movie if you feel like it. The couches are very comfortable so you might want to spend most of your time there! There are a few tables were you can eat -- the staff can even call for a delivery and order for you anything you might want to have, free of charge. There are two computers with free internet to use, with big flat screens. There are also two washing machines, one with a dryer where you can do your laundry for a fee. You just need to let the staff know and they will even turn the machine on for you!

The staff are extremely helpful -- they provide you with a map with directions to anywhere you might need to go, they even provide a service for the Vietnam Visa in case you need one, and they will help you sort out anything you might need to do while you are in Nanning.
