Nanning Hostels

Nanning is a quiet city in the province of Guangxi, in the south part of China. Nanning is well known with tourists as an ideal place to enter or leave Vietnam, so if you are planing a visit to this amazing country, Nanning is the perfect stop in between. Local travel agencies can easily arrange for you the Vietnam tourist visa (takes around up to three working days, which the perfect time for you to enjoy what Nanning has to offer while you wait). Nanning has a great transport network, as there are good and regular connections with the nearest and biggest cities in China by air, train, and bus. If your main purpose is traveling to Vietnam, you will not have any problems -– daily, there are a lot of buses to Hanoi and trains to the nearest city near the Vietnam border.

During your stay in Nanning, you can walk around the city center or organize a few days out in the surrounding areas. Inside Nanning, you should visit the Guangxi Provincial Museum (the perfect place to know more about their culture and history), take a walk or relax in Guangxi Botanical Garden, or join the relaxed lifestyle of the locals in the Yong River Bridge area (this is great for summer nights). If you have time, nearby areas are perfect for a one- or two-day tour -– Yangmei and Daming Mountain are the most popular.

There are not so many hostels in Nanning, so it's better to book in advance to avoid disappointments and have better rates. Nanning's hostels are really good value for money.
