LOCATION
Once a 19th Century Prison, the Breakwater Lodge, operated by Protea Hotels, is perfectly positioned in the heart of Cape Town's Waterfront Development and has easy access to restaurants, pubs, shops and entertainment facilities.
Neighbouring the CBD, Breakwater Lodge lies within easy reach of the main routes to beaches, mountain walks and city "hot spots" as well as being situated only 25km's from the Cape Town International Airport.

GUEST ROOM INFORMATION
Breakwater Lodge has 230 rooms with options ranging from twin/double and single with en-suite bathroom to single and double/twin sharing shower. Smoking and non-smoking rooms are available on request. All rooms are equipped with TV/Radio, direct-dial telephone and a welcome tray with biscuits and tea and coffee making facilities.

CONFERENCE AND BANQUETING FACILITIES
Because the hotel is closely linked with the University of Cape Town's Graduate School of Business, we are able to offer first class conference and function facilities at highly competitive rates. There is secure parking available, coaches included.

FACILITIES
Breathtaking views of Table Bay and the mountain can be enjoyed from the Time-Out Café that serves a la carte meals for lunch and dinner. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is also served in Stonebreakers, our self-service restaurant. For those "on the run", there are a number of vending machines located around the building.
The Hotel offers 24h internet access in the Transit lounge and wireless hotspots throughout the building , with various vouchers available at reception for purchase.
Coin-operated washing machines and dryers, as well as ironing facilities are located throughout the building.
The Business Centre offers basic secretarial services and sell toiletries and stationary, as well as GSB and BWL memorabilia.

CANCELLATIONS:
All reservations should be guaranteed with a credit card. One night's accommodation will be deducted from the card on confirmation of reservation, with the balance payable on check out at the hotel.
All payments must be made in ZAR. All bookings are considered provisional until one night's deposit has been received. Amendments, cancellations, postponements to the booking must be made in writing.
If a reservation is cancelled 48 hours prior to arrival, the credit card will automatically be refunded. Incase of a no-show, the hotel will keep the one night charge as a no-show fee.

• DIRECTIONS TO THE HOTEL:
• To reach the Breakwater Lodge from the Airport:
• 1.Take the N2 from the Airport to town. The N2 and N1 meet up at this point.
• 2.Carry on straight over the traffic lights passed the Holiday Inn Hotel.
• 3.At the next set of traffic lights, turn right into Western Boulevard.
• 4.Take the right hand lane that leads to a small set of robots leading into Portswood Road.
• 5.Turn right into Portswood Road.
• 6.The Breakwater Lodge entrance is the third entrance on one's right hand side.
