Samesun Hostels
Samesun Hostels are an international group of passionate travellers connected through the past 25 years of creating incredible experiences across Canada and USA. They have hostels in Vancouver, Los Angeles, Montreal, Banff, San Diego and Kelowna.
Their manifesto is saying a lot of their hostels - "Samesun nurtures a global community through our travel and hostel network. We value kindness, inclusion and caring for the planet. By creating inspiring experiences, we aim to empower each of us to make small steps towards a bigger impact."
Their hostels emphasize on social travel, because this is what can really make a trip. As they say: "It’s not the photos of the monuments that you take that create stories, it is the unexpected adventures, mishaps and evenings on the town with new friends that make a trip."
They encourage people to put down their phones and talk with the person across from them at one of our bars. They also organize daily activities at all their hostels.
Their main goal is to leave their hostels with experiences and a love for the city that you are visiting. They want to help you see the world through travellers eyes.
It is useful to know that they do not allow pets and emotional support animals. Legitimate service animals are allowed to check-in with you if they are always kept on a leash and remain with their owner.
They include a free breakfast with all their properties, and they are currently only accepting credit/debit cards for payment.
