Tully Ostellos   "Located on the main drag in Tully, Banana Barracks serves as a hostel for those travellers working in the fruit-picking trade. Restaurants, shops, grocery stores, and news agents are all within walking distance.
The building is in good condition and is relatively clean. Each room is set up with several self-contained units that connect to a common area that has an ensuite bathroom and security lockers. Oddly enough, management has installed bunk beds into these common areas, which is... "Oh my god, what a wicked working hostel. I came to work for 3 weeks and ended up staying 5 months. It was my home away from home. The staff were the friendliest hostel staff I came across in my 11 months travelling. The pool was lush, kitchen and bathrooms immaculate and the rooms small and clean. Although the work was pretty boring (but easy) there were always friendly faces to greet you as you got home. The town is small but so much fun. You must go to karaoke at the Top Pub on a Thursday... "A fun pub, with friendly staff -- always happy to help with anything! - When I got to Tully, my friends and I looked around for where to stay. We decided on Hotel Tully because it was the best of the lot. By far the cleanest, friendliest and cheapest. They have a great bar that always has something happening, and great food also really cheap. We met some awesome people and had great fun banana picking.
