Mar-Mar

Mar-Mar offers dormitory-style accomodations for students & budget travelers. The dorms are co-ed (mixed sexes) and vary in their offerings (most have kitchens & a few have terraces to sit out on). Mar-Mar also offers private accomodations (rooms & apartments), so make sure to specify what you are interested in when you contact them.

Mar-Mar has no curfew & no lock-out period during the day. Each guest is given a key to their room & it is theirs to keep until check-out. Although there are no safes in the dorms, the office will keep any valuables that you might have in the office for you.

Mar-Mar has multiple dormitory rooms & apartments located throughout the historic hamlet of Riomaggiore. They have a large, 10 bed multi-room apartment (which tends to be a very social atmosphere & a great place for those looking to make new friends) as well as smaller (and usually more tranquil) dorms with 4 beds.

Mar-Mar has an English speaking staff & takes advance reservations. They do require that all guests check-in no later than 5pm on their day of arrival, so don't plan on showing up late at night!
