Bamboozi Backpackers Lodge

Hidden in the hart of a coconutgrove along side a stretch of a virgin beach and surrounded by rural villages, this ecofriendly backpackers/beachlodge is built entirely of natural material. Endless summerdays can be spent in the warn Indian Ocean. Swimming, surfing, snorkeling and diving. When it is time to take a sun or sea break lay claim to a hammock and slip in some dreamtime!
Bamboozi style nights include wild parties, but those who prefer sitting on a balcony watching the moonrise while counting fireflies and shooting stars, can do just that.
We provide mozzie nets and linnen. Camping amongs palms, a guest kitchen, bbq areas and hot water showers (a rare luxury here).
The funky bar on the dune serves scrumptious seafood, veggie delights and local dishes.
Bamboozi has his own on site PADI dive resort center, offering snorkel safaris (dive with the largest fish in the ocean; the whaleshark), fundives with full rental of equipment and courses of all levels available. Our area is fast becomming famous for the resident Mantas, Whale sharkes, Dolphins, Turtles and Humpback whales.
Romantic horseriding trails along the virgin beaches is a must. The Bamboozi's speciality is to spoil you aboard her famous catamaran yacht, called "Live the dream" and sail you on the sunset to a remote deserted beach to play with the fosforressence and camp in between the coconut palms and watch the starry night next to a bonfire.
