"A really great place - I stayed at this hostel a couple of days in August '08 and I had a great time. Merrilee, the owner, is the best hostel manager I've ever met -- and I've stayed in many hostels in the U.S., New Zealand, and Australia. She knows everything about Newport, is very helpful, friendly, outgoing, and you can feel that she enjoys what she's doing. She's a great ambassador for Newport.
