PENSION MARILUZ is located right in the heart of Barcelona's Gothic Quarter,
just behind Sant Jaume´s Square ( where The Town Hall is located) and only 2
minutes walking to Las Ramblas Street.

Our hostel is a familiar business, which is more than thirty years old and located in
a nice building from the XVIII century. We have single, double and multiple
rooms, with or without private bathroom.

HOW TO GET
From Barcelona Airport
The taxi can cost between 22-26 euros (It depends on the traffic and number of baggage you carry on). Like our street its very small tell the taxi that PALAU STREET is close to Plaza Sant Jaume where it is the City Hall ( Ayuntamiento). The taxi stop is in front of the Airport.
There is a bus "Aerobus" to Plaça Catalunya per 4-5 euros, from this square to here is only 8-10 minutes walking. You walk down the Ramblas Street towards the see and in the middle of it you will see a Mc Donald's and KFC on your left, take the street between both is C/ Ferran. Walk this street until the end and you will get Sant Jaume Square where is The City Hall Building on the right side of the square, take the first street on your right of this square and you will arrive to another Square Sant Miquel, in front of you will see and high and new building that contrast with the others. Behind it is street Palau.
If you prefer you can take metro L3 in Catalunya Square to Liceu Station only one stop, and when you will get of the metro you will be in the middle of the Ramblas Street, after follow the same directions.
Bus Timetable: Every 11-15 minutes
From Mondays to Fridays: departures from the airport, from 06:00 to 24:00; from Plaza de Catalunya, from 05:30 to 23:15.
Saturdays, Sundays and holidays: departures from the airport, from 06:30 to 24:00; from Plaza Catalunya, from 06:00 to 23:15.
There is a train to Plaça Catalunya. Price between 2 and 3 euros.
Departures from the airport, from 6:13 to 23:40. Every 30 minutes
The RENFE Cercanías station is connected to the passenger terminal by moving sidewalks.
Journey duration:
17 minutes to Sants, 23 to Plaza Catalunya, 26 to Arc de Triomf and 30 to Clot-Aragó

From the Train Station :SANTS
Take metro (L3) towards Canyelles and get off in Liceu.
From the Bus Station :NORD
Take metro (L1) in Arc de Triomf to Urquinaona, there switch to L4 and get off in Jaume I. You also can take the bus number 40, and stop in Via Laietana (just after to pass the metro Jaume I stop and the Hotel Suizo).
From the metro LICEU L3
When you will get off Liceu you will be on The Ramblas Street, walk this street towards the see and on your left you will see a MCDonalds and a KFC, between both is Ferran Street, walk this street just to the end and you will get the Square SANT JAUME, on your right you will find The City Hall Building, between this and a news-stand, there is a small street, after this is another square SANT MIQUEL. Here in front of, you will see and high and new building that contrast with the others. Behind it is street Palau.
From metro JAUME I L4
When you will get off Jaume I, in front of you there is Jaume I Street, walk up this street just to the end where you will find SANT JAUME SQUARE, on your left you will see the City Hall, between this and a news-stand, there is a small street, after this is another square SANT MIQUEL. Here in front of you, you will see and high and new building that contrast with the others. Behind it is street Palau.
From the Port
Only 10 minutes walking. Turn right, going out the doors of the ferry terminal, and head towards the Columbus monument at the foot of Las Ramblas. From there, the simplest way is to continue along Avenue Colon approximately 100m and turn left onto Simó Olle Street, this street change the name in to Avinyó, follow this and turn the third on your right C/ Comtessa de Sobreadiel and then turn the first street on your left is this Palau street
