Loved it! Had a wicked time here, back in Sept '06! Found the owner helpful and the thai staff great fun -- they took us out on day trips and we really enjoyed our chilled relaxing time here!

I found the place to be a nice, cozy retreat away from the tourist attractions. it's not a place for luxury seekers or party animals, but a great place to relax and just chill. there is a small beach about fifty meters -- beautiful, peaceful, and well hidden away, not recommended for swimming. but with a motorbike or taxi for twenty to thirty bth you can access other beaches, which are overly crowded. The staff was friendly and helpful in all aspects.

Horrible. We booked through TAT in Bangkok and were charged 1200 B per night, without aircon. The location is not "on the beach" or even "near the beach" -- it is in a horrible, dank, rocky part of the coast. The room is tiny and two people cannot pass each other inside. There's no where to keep luggage. At least the bathroom is clean and functional, but that's the best part. The worst part -- there are bedbugs in the blankets.
