Klong Khood Homestay & Bungalows in Koh Chang … Me and my friend both have a wonderful paradise nine-night stay at Klong Khood. Peaceful, chilling out with hammock, books and quality talking with the locals about their mango forest and marine protest. Fun overnight fishing and hours forest trekking with Mr. Visarn. Fascinating view from the bungalow with kids running and playing. Very friendly and helpful host.

Bailan family Bungalows in Koh Chang … I found the place to be a nice, cozy retreat away from the tourist attractions. it's not a place for luxury seekers or party animals, but a great place to relax and just chill. there is a small beach about fifty meters -- beautiful, peaceful, and well hidden away, not recommended for swimming. but with a motorbike or taxi for twenty to thirty bth you can access other beaches, which are overly crowded. The staff was friendly and helpful in all aspects.
Bailan family Bungalows in Koh Chang … Horrible. We booked through TAT in Bangkok and were charged 1200 B per night, without aircon. The location is not "on the beach" or even "near the beach" -- it is in a horrible, dank, rocky part of the coast. The room is tiny and two people cannot pass each other inside. There's no where to keep luggage. At least the bathroom is clean and functional, but that's the best part. The worst part -- there are bedbugs in the blankets.
