One of the best Stayed for a month, give or take, without having intended to. The staff are welcoming and helpful, and the owner Fernando is there every day and will sit and chat with guests for hours at a time (he'll even struggle with English if your Spanish isn't up to it, and if you're still unable to get the message across all the staff speak perfect English). The place is spotlessly clean with the luxury of having your bed made for you every day. Well equipped and clean kitchen, with huge Carrefour supermarket round the corner makes it very convenient and economical to cook for yourself. Got to know everyone who works there by name, and likewise was always greeted by name by them. One of the best hostels I've stayed in after nine months traveling.

This hostel has a big management problem with bookings. It is quite often overbooked, because it offers their rooms on a couple of hostel booking platforms. And the stuff does not check the availability of their rooms, specially for the busy weekends. It happened to us! But they just tell you the overbooking problem, when you arrive at the hostel. We reserved a room five days in advanced and got a confirmation e-mail -- but when we arrived all rooms were already taken! Don't trust the booking via a hostel booking platform or e-mail request! We wanted to speak to the manager, but could not reach him in three days! We also heard that he can't speak any English and he is not willing to refund anything back -- no matter what happen! He is just coming every day for a short time and collects the money -- nothing else! The double room was plain furniture -- just a bunk bed and one chair. Lockers were outside the room and the showers were very small and combined with toilets.

A really great chilled place, run by really friendly staff, with comfortable clean rooms, good quality bed linen, and great communal areas -- tv room, kitchen, dining room. They have lots of information on local tours and sights and can sell tickets to just about all of them from reception. I'll definitely be staying here again if I come back!

Fantastic place in a good location. The owners and staff (and cat) were all really friendly and helpful, offering advice and assistance on all kinds of stuff, even introducing themselves by name which was a nice personal touch you rarely get. The hostel itself was very clean and well laid out with enough bathrooms to go round and plenty of equipment in the well kitted out kitchen (not to mention all the DVD's to go with the big TV in the lounge). The hostel is fairly new so everything was newly decorated and tidy and the guests seemed to pick this up and keep it that way, including the nice big garden at the back (total sun trap). Will definitely stay here again when we come back to Argentina to see everything we missed this time around.
