Arco de Las Cuevas in Mendoza … Really nice place.......very clean and very helpfull staff....had a great time, they really make us feel welcome and the building is fantastic....The guys there stayed up with the group, telling us stories and history information.. (the only thing wrong with the place is the big sell on doing their tours and package adventure......and also they will not tell you about other alternative options.....) There is a restaurant that tries to make a fortune from turist off......($6 pesos for scramble eggs, $4pesos for coffee........) there is no supermarket there....
Lagares International Hostel in Mendoza … This place is wonderful, the best in Mendoza. There is a lot of fun here!!!
Hostel Alamo in Mendoza … Fantastic place in a good location. The owners and staff (and cat) were all really friendly and helpful, offering advice and assistance on all kinds of stuff, even introducing themselves by name which was a nice personal touch you rarely get. The hostel itself was very clean and well laid out with enough bathrooms to go round and plenty of equipment in the well kitted out kitchen (not to mention all the DVD's to go with the big TV in the lounge). The hostel is fairly new so everything was newly decorated and tidy and the guests seemed to pick this up and keep it that way, including the nice big garden at the back (total sun trap). Will definitely stay here again when we come back to Argentina to see everything we missed this time around.

Winca's Hostel in Mendoza … An excellent hostel! Definitely up there with the best hostels I have stayed in. Very clean, safe and chilled. The staff and owners are awesome, super friendly and helpful. A great starting point for adventures. Basically, don't stay anywhere else.

Hostal Confluencia in Mendoza … This family-owned hostel in downtown Mendoza was the best. The owners were friendly and extremely helpful. They arranged for transportation to/from the airport, flight reservations, wine tours, restaurant reservations, and suggestions on things to to in Argentina. The accommodations are roomy and comfortable too.
Hostel Lao in Mendoza … Great hostal -- warm, friendly, and even well decorated. A little bit outside the city center but an easy walk and extremely helpful staff. An excellent value! Nice backyard patio area, relaxing indoor spaces, well-equipped, clean kitchen. Recommended!
Quinta Hostel in Mendoza … I just loved being there. I returned to Mendoza twice in a month while I visited South America and in that hostel I felt home. In total I was there about a week. Sergio is very nice man and all the people who work and visit this hostel are very nice. Something for ladies who come alone (as I did) this hostel is quite safe, there is always someone near the door and it is always locked! Hope you enjoy there as I did.
Hostel Ruca-Potu in Mendoza … very pretty, delicious place, incredible wine and is free! all that you can take, very clean. abundant, calm breakfast and in the nights if what you look for it is to rest this is the place.
Life House Hostel in Mendoza … It is a great hostel to stay in if you are into late nights and partying, but not so great if you like to sleep during the night. But it is clean, the staff are really friendly and helpful, and there is a great heated pool.
