Damajuana Hostel in Mendoza … Excellent. This place has a great staff and good partying.
Hostel Lao in Mendoza … Superb Hostel. you can tell its been set up by travelers as there is everything a traveller needs and its so friendly. I expected a walk, the place is two blocks from the main street, it has two of the main squares a five minute walk away, its ten minutes walking from the bus station, fifteen minutes walking from the main bar street, and its in a great area! The place is run like a friends house and becuase of this its relaxed and a really enjoyable place to stay. The lounges are comfortable (note lounges, plural) and they have a stunning garden with a pool, another huge bonus considering you are right in the middle of the city. The hostel is on a main street, so there is some noise from traffic, but nothing serious and nothing that isn't normal for a buisy city centre. If you are in Mendoza go enjoy this Hostel. There are no places like this anymore!

Lagares International Hostel in Mendoza … First class hostel. It has a really modern kitchen and bathrooms, it's spotless and has a great sociable layout with patios and courtyard. It's like being in a home rather than a hostel. The rooms have huge lockers and comfy beds. All the staff were genuinely helpful and friendly. The price is very good, and it really is close to town. Excellent!
Hostel Lao in Mendoza … I had an amazing time in Argentina. Hostel Lao is a great place to stay and I had the best time there! The owners, Celeste and Mike, are incredibly friendly and fun, and were so helpful during my entire stay. They know all of the fun things to do in Mendoza, and work closely with the best tour and excursion groups. You can reserve your rafting, mountain trekking, wine tasting, and other trip. You can pay them, and they make all the arrangements -- even have the people come pick you up at the hostel. As for the hostel itself, it wasn't just clean and safe, it was warm, friendly, inviting, and decorated in a very fun funky kind of way. The pool and hammocks are great additions, and breakfast is absolutely delicious. Celeste and Mike know all the great places to eat in Mendoza. It's the perfect hostel. You feel like you're staying with old friends.
Winca's Hostel in Mendoza … An excellent hostel! Definitely up there with the best hostels I have stayed in. Very clean, safe and chilled. The staff and owners are awesome, super friendly and helpful. A great starting point for adventures. Basically, don't stay anywhere else.

Lagares International Hostel in Mendoza … Very clean, comfortable, friendly and relaxing. None of the "grunginess" we found in other hostels. New mattresses, great coffee, and a nice, big kitchen. The staff are amazingly helpful and will make reservations, phone calls and help you find winery tours, car rentals, etc. We stayed at other, not so nice, hostels in Mendoza before we found Lagares. This place is perfect for families and older travelers who expect a higher quality of service and ambience.
Hostel Lao in Mendoza … Great hostal -- warm, friendly, and even well decorated. A little bit outside the city center but an easy walk and extremely helpful staff. An excellent value! Nice backyard patio area, relaxing indoor spaces, well-equipped, clean kitchen. Recommended!

Lagares International Hostel in Mendoza … First class hostel. The staff are very genuine and helpful, and there are huge secure lockers in the room. The kitchen is of an excellent standard for a hostel, and the modern clean feel didn't take away from the friendly atmosphere. I was surprised to find for the price that this hostel is in a really nice area, only a few moments' walk from the main square. It really was a fantastic place!
