We booked this hotel about a week before we arrived in Paris for two nights. However, we only stayed here for one night as we were told on arrival that we had to spend the first night somewhere else. Would like to point out that I phoned the hotel twice before arriving and they never mentioned being in a different hotel the first night! Have to say it's an ok hotel -- you get what you pay for! — Jo (2006-04-04) OK Hotel - (you get what you pay for!) Comfy beds, plenty hot water and warm. Breakfast was basic to say the least, bread and jam and tea/coffee/OJ. Tea tastes very odd though so stick with coffee!
Our experience with the staff was minimal but they didn't come across as very approachable or friendly!
Very handy for the Metro and lots of pubs/restaurants at the Bastille.
It's the kind of hotel you'd stay in if all you were doing was sleeping there which is what we did. Probably stay somewhere else next time. — Jen (2006-01-20)
