Our hotel is located on one of the best beaches in Zanzibar, Cristal Resort offers two types of rooms, Deluxe room(Hard rooms, AC, Stand fan, queen size bed,mosquitonet,bathtub, counter sink, towels, bath mat, bathrobes,safe, terrace, and ocean view) Eco-Bungalow ( Wooden room,Cieling fan, queen size bed, walkin mosquitonet, Shower, counter sink, towels, bath mat, safe, terrace, and ocean view)
all our rooms are lead by a white sandy pathway (surrounded by a green lawn) to the restaurant and beach.
Our beach is said to be the best in paje as we have many fringled palms and 180m of white sand. Our beach hotel is very calm as we are far enough from the other hotels but close enough to walk to other restaurants.
Our Restaurant serves a unique tropical menu and snacks, and fresh seafood, fished by the local fisherman,

Another Robbery in September 2008! We experienced Cristal's second or third robbery of the year on September 17th this year, unfortunately. This time a tourist was shot (he is apparently ok though had to be flown to Dar immediately). Poor police response and on-site security failed again. The owners did pay for travel back to Stone Town, so they probably performed better than in the past, but potential visitors should think long and hard before committing to the resort. — VS , USA (2008-09-29) A very dangerous place My family and I stayed in this hotel from March 10 through March12. On the day of our arrival, around 7 p.m., the hotel was attacked by a couple of armed men, who robbed all tourists present in the hotel lobby. The hotel is located in a remote area and didn't have any security, apart from two or three elderly men with machetas, who escaped when they saw the robbers. In the week before our arrival there had been similar robberies in the area but Cristal Resort's owners neither hired any armed body guards nor warned its guests. After the robbery the staff took almost forty-five minutes to call the police, the robbers had then enough time to escape. None of the victims of the robbery was provided with any compensation from Cristal Resort nor its owners, Ms Mehrez and Mr. Kodeh, maybe because of their financial problems. Keep off that place if you do not want to lose all your money. — Mikolaj , Poland (2008-04-09) We stayed at the Cristal for seven nights in February 2006. Our time there was just delightful. The accommodation, food, and service was excellent. Their website is no exaggeration. The owners very helpful and pleasant.
