We enjoyed our stay here. Guiseppe and family were friendly and helpful. They own three properties and this can be confusing: we booked Poggio del Sole Independence, but stayed at Hotel Poggio del Sole. (This may be because they were just getting started for the season and had one property up and running). The hotel is a fairly long walk from town, with the occasional bus, but the view is panoramic. I think the Poggio Independence is closer to the beach. CAUTION: On this and some other Web sites, it may seem that the room cost includes 1/2 board (breakfast and lunch or dinner). This is NOT the case. Food is an extra charge. Hopefully they will make changes to the Web site so this misunderstanding no longer occurs. — Anonymous (2005-04-02)
