This very clean, friendly, family-run hotel is ideal as a base to explore the old town and indeed the region. It's located in the pedestrian-friendly part of town, which is lovely to stroll in of an evening and enjoy the various shops and bars. The beach is minutes away, as is the station with frequent trains to Barcelona. In July we had the pool to ourselves; it was heavenly. We will return!
