Totters Independent Hostel in Snowdonia … We stayed at this hostel for one night, and had a nice time! The guy running it was very friendly and helpful; he gave us some tips on local places to see. It is located right next to the castle, but a good walk from the bus station, and not many of the locals seem to know where it's at, so make sure you know how to get to it before you arrive. Our room was nice, with clean linens, even if the bed was uncomfortable. Towels aren't provided, so bring your own! The hostel was quiet too; we didn't socialize with any of the people in the common room, but they were all very quiet. Overall, an excellent stay!!!

Snowdon Lodge in Snowdonia … I have stayed here a couple of times over the years. It is my favorite hostel ever. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The place is clean and warm and dry and modern. It's the house Lawrence of Arabia was born in (that room is now the loo!)!!! The staff were very accommodating, and I had a nice breakfast. The best. Even though I am an old grown-up lady these days, I look forward to returning.

Totters Independent Hostel in Snowdonia … Absolutely fantastic. I have rarely seen staff working so hard and so thoroughly whilst still being so friendly and helpful, and even making time for a chat. It reflected the atmosphere and appearance of the hostel. Besides that, the hostel fulfilled my expectations in every way. If you decide to go here, then please enable the staff to maintain this high rating!

Totters Independent Hostel in Snowdonia … This really is a great hostel, and it has a fantastic homey feel. The lounge room and dining room feel just like you're staying in someone's house, and are well furnished. The rooms are good with a mix of bunk and single beds. The whole place is clean, including the bathrooms.

Snowdon Lodge in Snowdonia … This hostel was fantastic! Staff were brilliant and were more than happy to give detailed advice about local activities, etc., and have very good knowledge of hiking routes throughout Snowdonia. The dorm was fine - very clean and big enough. The bar, kitchen and common room facilities are very good and you can even hire films/games for a small charge. Overall the atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming. The hostel is also ideally placed for Snowdonia, and within walking distance of pubs and shops. The beach is only about 10 minutes drive away too! I would definitely recommend Snowdon Lodge.

Llys Ednowain Hostel in Trawsfynydd … Stayed last Saturday Night - We turned up at 8:00 and phoned the warden who arrived in about 30 seconds! The whole building was immaculate and the service was very friendly.I would recommend this to anyone as a place to stay.

Sgubor Unnos/The Bunkhouse Llangian in Abersoch … I loved my stay at the bunkhouse. It was delightful, and everything was perfect. It is a great place, especially if you are going with a lot of people. This past summer I went with my church group from St. John's church in West Hartford, Connecticut, USA. I loved it and I wish I could go back soon.

Totters Independent Hostel in Snowdonia … I stayed here in May 2007. This was one of the best experiences ever, and I have had quite a few. Totters is probably the best hostel I have ever stayed in. I went here because of the high ratings this establishment has received, and my expectations were fully met. One of the things that makes Totters so great is attention to detail. Everything is clean, simple, and of good quality. In this hostel you will not find a lot of advanced extras. There is no washing machine or wireless internet connection. What you will find is a good nights sleep. There are comfortable mattresses, nice new duvets, and pillows. And none of those annoying sheet bags. They just wash the covers in between uses. Simple! Is is hard to describe all the little details that adds to this experience. You would have to see it for yourself. Snowdon Lodge in Snowdonia … This hostel was one of my favorites in all of my travels in Europe. The couple who owns the hostel is very knowledgeable about hikes around Snowdonia. They are very kind and help with any questions. It's also very secure, with a key code you must enter every day. The morning breakfast is a nice service and they pack lunches if you don't want to go to the grocery store. This is an ideal place for those who want to hike and chill in one of the UK's most beautiful areas.
