I lived in Soest as a child. It was so wonderful, quaint, and friendly. I can't wait to take my children to see how non-Americans live.
Hostel Utrecht City Center in Utrecht … All the people staying here were very friendly, as was the staff. Great location in the city. Free food and computers make this the best hostel I've ever been too.
Hostel Strowis in Utrecht … Eleven of us were on a cycling holiday around the Netherlands. Strowis was the perfect place to return to after a hard day spent riding and an evening spent in Utrecht. In fact the whole town was perfect. I would happily recommend both to anyone who wanted to see a different side to the Holland than just loud Amsterdam. Staff at the hostel were friendly and open when approached but let you enjoy your stay, your way otherwise. I cannot think of one thing about Strowis that did not please me or impress me, especially given the price that is paid for your stay. Perhaps a second day, to see more of this little gem.
B & B Utrecht in Utrecht … The best place to stay. They have friendly staff, it's clean, and costs only 12 euros with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There's free internet all day. It's the best of Utrecht.
Hostel Strowis in Utrecht … I stayed at strowis for ten days and it has been great. It was always clean although the hostel was booked out and the staff was friendly. Sitting in the backyard was excellent.

Hostel Strowis in Utrecht … I can easily say this was the best hostel I experienced in Germany, Belgium, or the Netherlands. It has a homey feel, good beds, an extremely friendly staff, and an oustanding full buffet breakfast. Utrecht is a great city. It's more friendly & much more chill than Amsterdam.

Hostel Strowis in Utrecht … i have to join those highly speaking of this hostel. i've spent there great time and it's staff is extremely friendly, not mentioning amazing sitting in the backyard.
B & B Utrecht in Utrecht … We originally booked for 2 days and stayed 2 weeks! You really can't beat this price, 12 euros for basic food (a lot of cheese) plus dorm bed (some are more comfy than others so test a few out) and Internet. Great classic video collection, and the owner is lovely... providing slabs of beer a few times a week, and occasionally a vodka watermelon! The rooms and bathrooms are cleaned everyday and the kitchen is as clean as you make it, so clean up after yourself and you're fine. It is near canals and swimming pools and lovely parks and a nice flat walk into town. We will definitely go back!
Hostel Strowis in Utrecht … It's a very nice hostel, very clean and with good atmosphere. In their lobby there is always good music and enough space for talking or just reading a book.
Hostel Utrecht City Center in Utrecht … Fabulous! Free Internet! Free snacks all day long! Friendly staff and a social atmosphere make this my absolute favorite hostel ever. The shower on the first floor is the best.
I have found that the better the "atmosphere" of a hostel; the less concerned I am with cleanliness. I don't remember if this was super clean or not but it was so charming and so fun that I was too busy enjoying myself to care!
Hostel Strowis in Utrecht … That place was a deadly buzz, real chilled, and all you need is on three streets: coffeeshop shop, banklink, and bed. The perfect place, way better than tacky dam. It's in a real old area and there are parks and canals to chill by. I recommend it to everyone. Cheaper than Amsterdam too!!!
