Reims is a very unique and pretty place. People are nice and patient. It's good to travel the city with the day pass which cost 2.5 euro.
Centre International de Sejour Chaussée Bocquaine Hostel in Reims … Having stayed here twice I found the food good, the rooms clean and spacious, the en-suite very convenient and the staff very obliging and friendly. It is abovr the average standard of this type of hostel
and is very cheap and convenient. Excellent conference and reception facilities.
Centre International de Sejour Chaussée Bocquaine Hostel in Reims … I was actually surprised that this hostel was a bit better than most HIs, though it still had the large, group-oriented feel. It has nice rooms, which are really cheap. It's probably the best I could ask for in an HI hostel, so I can't complain.
Centre International de Sejour Chaussée Bocquaine Hostel in Reims … Clean and comfortable, but not a good place to meet other travellers. Mostly it was just workers and students there when I stayed (and a few dodgy people). It does have great facilities (kitchen, TV room) and is close to town. It would be fine if you are the sort of person who doesn't want to meet anyone and doesn't mind being hit on by dodgy men!
Centre International de Sejour Chaussée Bocquaine Hostel in Reims … Comfortable and clean, although if you want food I suggest you don't eat in the restaurant because the food was absolutely rubbish. Also, the guy who owns it doesn't like any noise at all, so if you are in your rooms you can't make much noise.
HI - Troyes-Rosières Hostel in Rosières Prés Troyes … I booked this hostel through the AJ website thinking I would end up in a good place but the truth is that the bus to the hostel stops running after 7pm, also the people that apparently stay in the hostel permanently seem a little scary. The staff was very friendly but I did not feel safe here and left after 1 night - I had to walk the 6km into Troyes because I just missed the 8.20 bus and the next bus was at 12! Don't stay here if you want to visit Troyes, and if you visit Troyes, trust me, you don't need many days coz there's nothing to see.
Centre International de Sejour Chaussée Bocquaine Hostel in Reims … I visited this hotel with my school in England. It was ok, but not great. There could have been more to do in our rooms and in the hotel itself. The tv was ok -- I liked the game shows. The only thing I didn't like was the number of other people there and not being allowed to make much noise. Also I'm a vegetarian and there weren't many choices in vegetarian food.

HI - Troyes-Rosières Hostel in Rosières Prés Troyes … HI - Troyes-Rosières Hostel isn't actually in Troyes -- Rosieres is an outlying suburb or precinct of Troyes and a five-kilometer bus trip or drive from town. However, it's a reasonable if somewhat unconventional budget hostel with friendly staff and a family atmosphere.
