HI - Mons - Auberge du Beffroi Hostel in Mons … FABULOUS hostel, so modern. Both the bedrooms and the bathroom were spotless. I would recommend staying here to anyone. It's well worth the visit.
HI - Tournai Hostel in Tournai … I stayed three or four times when Lille's hostel was fully booked. Nice place to stay. Historical (decorated by Horta) with modern facilities. Large enough (more than two hundred beds) to find a bed even if no reservation. Only one criticism -- closing time at low season (7 p.m.) too early. I was telling off for arriving at 8. (Oct. 2004)
