This hostel is a bit of a hike from downtown and you will walk about 10-15 minutes uphill to get to it. Unfortunately, it is situated near quite a busy road, so if you get a room that faces this road, it
will be noisy at night! Try to ask for a quieter room when you check in if you're a light sleeper.
There isn't much of an atmosphere here. It's definitely not a party place, but it's not overly cozy either. Most people will hang out in the TV/dining area, as there's digital TV and many tables and chairs. Overall, the hostel is in ok condition. Some of the furniture and curtains are rather old and shabby, but it is still comfortable.
The breakfast consists of a few slices of baguette, some cookies and tea and coffee. It will just satisfy your hunger, but don't be surprised if you get hungry again soon.
Rooms sleep from about two to six people. They are reasonably clean, and someone makes your bed for you every day. The beds are quite comfortable and very sturdy and secure lockers are provided in the rooms. The bathrooms are also kept reasonably clean, and the showers are nice and hot. Hand soap and towels are handy in the bathrooms.
The kitchen is really big and very clean. It has lots of pots, pans, and spices for your use. There is a
huge fridge, which is kept clean. The kitchen is probably the best part of the hostel, next to the digital TV. There is no email access here. The staff speaks limited English.
Although it's nothing special, this is a reasonably decent place to stay for a night or two.
