HI - Puerto Madryn - El Gualicho Hostel

I stayed there last year for just two days and it lived up to my expectations, as all they say on their Web site is true. The rooms are clean, warm and safe, there's a cozy common room to hang out, and the staff are really helpful. They sell a couple of excursions, which is great if you turn up there without having much idea of what to do once you're on the Peninsula. On the other hand, I didn't see much of a social life.
