Once we got our bearings in St. Pete, we found that the hostel is in an excellent location, with a market 5 minutes away. The staff was very friendly and helpful with any and all questions or requests, even for our group of 14.

Location close to metro and local restaurants. We had a double room with ensuite on the ground floor. It was more like a suite than a room. Had its own refrigerator Found it very comfortable and convenient. Staff was very helpful and spoke english.

Great place to stay - private ensuite room was excellent! fantastic communal kitchen space and comfy living room. 24 hour reception meant there was no problem when we arrived from the overnight train.

I got a room to myself, which was nice. Quiet and clean too, but noise from echoey rooms can be loud at night. They need to fix the leaky ceiling in kitchen though and bedroom door that won't lock. I'd be less impressed if I got the third bed (two foam mattresses up a ladder) too!

I really appreciated the seriousness of the staff and in the same time the very relaxed ambiance. I met other foreign travelers but also Russian people staying there, that is important also for me. I will definitely go back to this lovely place my next time in St Petersburg.

The hostel is absolutely great if you want to stay there on your own, like I did. The only disadvantage if you would like to learn to know people is that there is no kitchen, but in this case, one can book a place in the 8-bed dorm! All in all I really enjoyed my stay there!
