Really liked this hostel for the mix of outdoorsy people and just general travelers. Staff were extremely helpful,friendly and professional- some of the best I have had. There was also a good lively bar on the ground floor and the kitchen was relatively well stocked with cooking equipment.

Convenient place to stay in Chamonix. While quite overpriced, its actually one of the more affordable options! The bar and kitchen make it good for socialising and there is a great view of Mont Blanc from the terrace.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic view of the mountains. The bar is rather convenient. I had to leave early because of an emergency back home and the girl in charge (I never even got her name) did a lot to help -thank you very much!

Nice old building, loads of character, rickety wooden floorboards and rock walls. Great location and some rooms have views up to the glacier below Mt Blanc, like room 5. The girls who work in the bar are chatty as are many of the regulars. Theres an interesting mix of guests too from serious mountaineers, climbers to walkers and tourists. Happy hour, though stil "London prices" is probably cheapest in town.

Great hostel in Chamonix. The food is awesome and a good value. The bar is a great spot to meet people and relax after a day of adventure in the Mont-Blanc valley. Best place to stay in Chamonix.
