Where I always stay in Anchorage (when I'm the one paying for it)
Good value for Anchorage (especially by the week). New, clean, quiet (except for street, which isn't very loud). Big TV (with many channels) and decent-size fridge in room. Reliable wireless internet access in rooms. Well-equipped shared kitchen areas. Nice staff. Just a few blocks north of Denali Car Rental (best deal here). Free parking. Thoughtful selection of paperback books available for guests. Easy location to find, and not very far from city bus route (five-minute walk for pick-up, across the street for drop-off). But, Shared bathrooms (two per floor) instead of for each room. Need to provide own towel, soap, TP. In short, it's not the Hilton, but doesn't cost like a Hilton, either. Also provides more privacy than at the hostels that I've stayed at. Similar to nice-quality dorm.

Lovely place to stay with hosts who are kind and very helpful
This place is the ideal place for travelers on the move or even for those who wish to linger awhile in anchorage. It is always clean and well kept -- and the facilities are good for cooking and relaxation.The hosts here are always accessible and friendly and will go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. My family had a wonderful time in alaska this summer.
