The staff were fantastic and amazingly helpful! Always greeted us with a smile and nothing seemed to be a problem!! Definately went far and beyond of the things they could do for us, even sending us a phone that I forgot in the hostel!!!

Despite the language barrier, our host was a warm, friendly and hospitable lady who made us feel very welcome and did a mean load of washing. While the location is a bit out of town, it's more about the warmth and atmosphere of a place and despite being simple accommodation, it was a true backpackers' experience.

The daughter was very helpful, she drove us to the airport. The mother washed our clothes very rapidly. We had the impression to be in the family. We don't really speak Spanish but we had real conversations about the life in Punta arenas etc. It was a great place to stay.. and very cheap.

The owners of the hostel are incredibly nice! The only drawbacks were that the accomadations were pretty basic (although for the price paid, it was well worth it) and it's a 10-15 minute walk to the town center where all the restaraunt, etc are.
