Pension Bicuar, Faro

• From the International Airport of Faro by taxi:
• The journey takes around 20 minutes. From Faro International Airport advise the driver to stop at the Olhão markets, we are a two minute walk from there.
• From Faro Railway Terminal by train:
• The company that operates the connections is called Comboios de Portugal. Olhão train station is on the Villa Real do St Antonio – Lagos line which also serves Faro. There are around 17 trains a day from Faro, depending on the day of the week . The journey only takes 10 minutes. The station in Olhão lays mid way down the Avenida da Republica. From there a short 10 minute walk & you will arrive at Pension Bicuar Residencial. After arriving, walk down the Avenida Republica and keep to the far left. When you see the Church you are only a few minutes away .This is the pedestrian Street of Rua Vasco da Gama, you will find Pension Bicuar Residencial entrance at the end of this street on your right hand side.
• From Lisbon Railway Terminal by train:
• If you are coming from Lisbon you will need to change at Faro. Then, you will have to take the exact path that you would take if you came directly from Faro railway station.
• From Faro Bus Terminal by bus:
• The company that operates this service is called Eva. Olhão bus station can be found on Rua General Humberto Delgado not far from the train station. From there to our guest house in Rua Vasco da Gama it is a 10 minute walk. After arriving, walk down the Avenida Republica and keep to the far left. When you see the Church you are only a few minutes away .This is the pedestrian Street of Rua Vasco da Gama, you will find Pension Bicuar Residencial entrance at the end of this street on your right hand side.
• From different locations by car:
• If coming from the east or west, via the A22, exit at junction 15, i.e the Olhão exit & take the EN 398 south , follow the signs to Olhão . If coming from Faro follow the signs to Olhão then turn right at the water fountain roundabout as you enter the town. This road leads to the waterfront and the markets. Park your car in any of the side streets ( not in a doorway) and you will find Pension Bicuar Residencial less than 150 meters from the market buildings inside the old centre.
• Our recommendation in terms of parking.
• There are streets with free parking in the old town of Olhão, however the roads are small and narrow and it can get a bit hard to park at.
• If you wish you can unload the car next to our Pensão entrance at the Rua de São José 31, Olhão (https://goo.gl/maps/kd8EJua6wQ42).
• We do recommend to park your car afterwards at the public parking (free of charge - https://goo.gl/maps/CehzFMMw2Pm -) next to the police station directly at the waterfront on Avenida October 5th.
• This is a 5 mins walk (300 - 400 meters ) to us alongside the sea promenade to the old town.
