5  Favorite hostel (minus the location) I accidentally booked this place without noticing it was Badalona, not Barcelona. But it was fine because the metro is about 30 seconds away and goes directly into the city. clean & quiet, FANTASTIC atmosphere for meeting people! i met some awesome people here. it was really nice to have a full kitchen and nice places to just sit and hang out. grocery store a couple minutes down the street too. free internet is quite convenient as well! except the browser kept closing out! 3 nights here, excellent place!  , United States ()
5  Sucha Good Hostel We had a really great experience at this Hostel. The staff especially at the reception was very nice, helpful and friendly. The Hostel is nice, clean and well located. I will recommend it to everybody!  , Germany ()
3  Ok well its a good hostel but not well located. staff friendly but rooms are very noisy. there is always some noise at night. water floating or sport activity from outside. it's very big hostel so not nice family atmosphere, many school groups are staying -- makes it difficult to meet travelers. as well things are not really working for example public phone and Wi-Fi. the keyboards are not matching with the letter on it. and so on.  , germany ()
5  Amazing It was just amazing, great staff, computer with internet available all the time, super super clean hostel, common room with a 42"plasma display. i mean it's just amazing, it has everything you'll ever need on a trip.  , Panama, Panama ()
5  Simply the best hostel I've ever stayed at This hostel has it all. It's the cleanest hostel I've been to, the rooms are great and have AC. The rooms also have secured lockers to store your things. The hostel is situated close to the beach and a subway stop. A liquor store is around the corner. Every night I was there people were partying, but the rooms are situated far enough from the lounge areas so that if you need to catch some Zs you won't be disturbed. Everyone was super friendly with each other and the place is completely conducive to socializing with fellow travelers. I will definitely be back!  , Canada ()
5  Totally recommended Just fantastic! The one!  , Portugal ()
4  Great Hostel, not so great location This hostel is clean, roomy, and has a good atmosphere. It is however quite far from the city center, located at the end of Subway Line 2. Not much to see in the surroundings. Has free Internet for guests if you are prepared to wait in line as the four available computers are always busy. This hostel seems to appeal to younger (eighteen- to twenty-year-old) travelers, so be aware!  , Canada ()
5  I put this hostel is the TOP 5 in Europe. I've been traveling in Europe for over a month. Usually, I use to choose backpacker apartments instead of hostels, because I think apartments are way better in terms of quality, safety, comfort and so on, and not more expensive than hostels. For once, I have chosen to stay in a hostel, I do not regret. This place is great, just great. Spotless clean, free internet, super location right next to las ramblas. The only problem I had was with this guy -- his feet smelled terrible and he did not want to shower!  , Roma, Italia ()
4  This hostel was so much fun. The rooms were small but very clean, so were the shower rooms. The staff was very friendly!  ()
5  This hostel is amazing! Met some of the coolest people and had the absolute best time there! Everything's clean, the beds are great, and the layout is extremely social. Seriously, you really don't have to think twice about booking your stay here. it's by far the best hostel ever.  ()
5  Very friendly staff and clean rooms! Lots of interesting people and close to Las Ramblas. Would recommend to most everyone. I wanted to give 4 stars because the internet and credit card machines were down while we were there, but I know they're working now, so the place gets all 5 stars.  ()
4  Excellent location. Clean. Very small rooms. Not many showers though. Cold water on the first floors. Not many utensils in the kitchen (only one fork). Breakfast ok but early so watch out not to miss it. Helpful receptionist. A good spot to meet friendly people .  ()
5  Terrific hostel, lots of fun, with events planned every night for a good chance to go and socialize. There's a lot of good things about this hostel, and that includes the location: It is just a block from the Parael-el train station:Just go out the Carrier Nous de la Ramblas exit, and you're there within moments! The crowd at the hostel is young and fun, and so it can get a bit noisy in the halls. The rooms are a bit crowded, but there's secured lockers for everyone that are very spacious, so there winds up being enough room to get around, although it can be a bit difficult when everyone's trying to get ready in the morning. It's a bit of a bugger that there's only one bathroom for each sex per floor, because a lineup for the showers can definetly form in the morning. That said, the toilet is seperate from the shower, and you can always nip into the other sex's bathroom if it's unoccupied. Breakfast is included, cereals, milk rolls, jam and juice. The staff is good and friendly, and everyone speaks english, as well as Spanish and Catylunian. They're a bit prone to blaring music too loudly throughout the building's corridors, but that's ok, it's kept down at night and in the mornings. Free internet is included, which is great, although there's only one operational comp for everyone to share, and there's also laundry. The common room and kitchen in the basement are both of good size, and the kitchen has plenty of dishes, pans, pots and other kitchen parpenalia. Couldn't find any towels though! it's a bit smoky in the common room, as cigs are allowed, but the ventalation is good, it shouldn't bother anyone unless they are seriously alergic. Sheet and towel rentals are available, and there's also massive lockers that cost two euro where you can leave your bag for the day after checking out. good fun option, super close to La Rambla and all the night life, and only a short metro or bus to the beach!  , Canada ()
4  I stayed here for 10 days. Amazing! The staff are all really friendly and extremely helpful. Relaxed and laid-back atmosphere. I definitely recommend the place!  ()
3  I stayed here in June of 05. Overall, it was nice. It was probably the cleanest of all the hostels I've been to, so that was a definite plus. The bedrooms themselves are tiny, but served their purpose. The showers were also incredibly small, but always had hot water. The staff were mostly friendly.  ()
