Ok but some troubles We stayed here in April 2009. The hostel is ok. Quite clean, close to the bus and train station. But there is no competition between hostels (there are only two in the town), so they can do whatever with service and their attitude to clients. And they did! We came to the hostel in the evening and paid (50 eur for a double) only for one night (we haven't figured out our plans yet). Next morning we woke up quite late (that was my birthday!!) and decided to stay for another day. We walked down to pay for one more day, but DIDN'T FIND ANYONE AT THE RECEPTION. We looked around -- there was no one. We thought "ok, so we'll go out and then pay in the evening." Logic decision! But when we came early in the evening to rest a bit before the celebration of my birthday, we found our room empty!! It turns that they took all our stuff out of the room! The most DISGUSTING thing is that they PUT TOGETHER TO BIG GARBAGE BAGS OUR SHOES AND UNDERWEAR, OPENED SOAPS AND FOOD, everything!!! Then they pretended they were right for two hours -- I haven't met such disgusting attitude in hostels! I'm thanking them for my best birthday evening ever! Besides this the hostel was ok (but expensive for such service) and the town was wonderful!! — Kath , Netherlands (2010-01-08)

Excellent accommodation, dissimilar to most budget accommodation. The food is by fay the best part, although breakfast left a lot to be desired (one bread roll per person). The other meal each day (half board) was excellent -- a pasta course, a main, and a dessert. The rooms aren't luxury by any means, but are comfortable, and are excellent for the price, and the staff are helpful and friendly. — Jonathan H , English (2007-05-08)

I discovered Trento by accident and fell in love with it straight away! I stayed in a hotel in the town for one night for approx £30. The hotel was ok. I stopped here the next night for £12 and it was great! I had a room with a skylight, good size room (double room, but I was the only occupant) and friendly and helpful staff! Fairly modern building and very clean (just as the Romans would have liked!) Very recommended, but much in demand for backpackers in the know. — Pete (2005-05-30)
