Not very clean. No heating though it was quite cold and rainy. The railway station was right behind the building, 100 m away from our bedroom window. So it got awfully loud every few hours during the night from the cargo trains. The staff were not helpful. — axL & eM (2005-10-07)

Hostel Turiba is a great value!!! The hostel is far away from the city center but it is not a problem. Nearby there are one trolley bus line to go to the old town (15 minutes) and a train line to go to the train and bus station. The hostel's area is very safe!! — IngA (2005-08-18)

We stayed at the Turiba for 10 days and all we can say is that it is a very good place to stay if you are a tourist in Riga. The toilets and showers are always clean and the receptionists are friendly. The connection to the city center is very good. By Trolley Bus 8 it takes about 15 minutes. Another possibility is bus number 40 to the bus stop. It is a little farther then the trolley bus but it also takes about 15 minutes to center. TURIBA is good place! — Lara & Lisa (2005-01-15)
