• The street name is Rue Benasser Lakrari 12,
• If you have trouble finding the Riad here are a few tips:
• When you arrive by car simply follow the signs to Rabat- and later
• towards the center. It is not well indicated, we often suggest that
• you ask any police officer to direct you towards the Medina. They are
• present at a lot of he round-abouts . Ask for the entrance of the
• Medina called Bab-El-Had .
• When there, park at the public parking and
• search for the police station at the medina.(Ghanini) When at the police
• station call Khalid.(our Guardian) He is 5 min. walk away. He will get
• in the car with you, take you to a safe and cheaper parking. From
• there he will walk you to the Riad. About 5 min. by foot.
• If you come by taxi: Have the taxi drop you off at 'Beb Bouiba' at the
• Medina of rabat. (beb means door) This is a doorway (one of them) into
• the medina (the old part of town).
• There you walk into the medina (only pedestrians) straight ahead about
• 600-700 meters. Our street is on your right hand side. The fourth
• 'dead end'street.
• It is called Rue Benasser lakrari. The Riad is the second last house
• on the right side.
• Khalid is also a good source of information concerning sights in
• Rabat, restaurants, places to go. But do ask him if you need any information.
• If you arrive at Rabat airport take a taxi ( 200 DH)
• If you arrive at Casablanca airport take the train.
• If you come by train. Know that the train leaves right from the airport. You take the escalator down to -1 level. Buy a ticket and the train is right there, it is very easy. Get off at the second stop in Rabat which is
• RABAT VILLE.: The main street in front of the main station is called
• Boulevard Mohammed V. You turn left and walk down towards the
• medina (5 min).
• When you reach the entrance of the medina you turn
• right and follow the tram tracks about 100 meters. Now you are walking
• outside the wall that makes the circumference of the medina.
• When you reach the first big entrance into the Medina 'Beb Bouiba' you turn
• left and follow the directions mentioned above.
