Description
We have the best basic facilities and very much laid back in everything.It is the only Swazi owned backpackers in Swaziland that gives you an opportunity to mix with the local people Myxos is a well spoken young Swazi male very helpful with all the information that you need for your trip about South Africa and Mozambique. He will tell you about the things to do in Swaziland attractions.
But most of all he runs the tours -DAy Tours And Overnight tour in the village of Kaphunga ( 55kms away from the town Manzini)where you get to have the opportunity to learn about the culture of the Swazi Rural people. There you can visit the local families and try the local language and ask questions about the Swazi life and the tradtion via your guide.
Also visit the local schools and spend time with the kids and be prepared to answer lots of questions. you will feel at home right away.
The Backpackers is about 6 kms away from Manzini and this is the most relaxed joint ever run by the local people in fact Myxos himself is always around to give the full low down on infor that you need.
Only people with a good heart and have the good understanding of a foriegn culture.
Other wise its a home for all of us.

Amazing Myxo is incredibly welcoming. I've stayed at a lot of hostels in Southern Africa and this was one of the best! Take his trip to the homestead. Well worth the money! For those interested in exploring life in the Kingdom of Swaziland, I can't recommend Myxo highly enough! In July 2006 I traveled throughout South Africa and Swaziland for three weeks with my two sisters. My big regret is not spending more time in Swaziland with Myxo. The two days we had there were the best of the whole trip. I feel sorry for the travelers who stayed at other more luxurious accommodations while in the Kingdom because they missed so much! While a visit to Myxo's might be "rugged" you'll be glad you made it.
