We stayed here after a huge tour around Europe and it was fantastic. My mother and I were in one room and a Swedish mother, daughter and granddaughter were in the other room. It was a fantastic two nights relaxing and seeing the city. The hostel is very close to town and the train station. It has lovely comfortable beds, a beautiful quiet location and really friendly people.

This place is warm and cozy, and very friendly! And dude, you're on a HOUSEBOAT!!! It's a fifteen-minute walk from the Red Light District and pretty much anywhere. And the fridge is pre-stocked with beer and Red Bull and snacks to purchase. We highly recommend this place!

My husband and I stayed for four nights on the Deo Volente. It was so wonderful, and I had the best sleep and naps while we stayed here. When we go back we will be staying here again!

Thanks very much to Marie-Anne! She was very nice and helpful! It is kind of unforgettable, staying on a houseboat! Amsterdam is not very good, except for this warm boat!
