Welcome to Bananas Hostel
Bananas Hostel is a bright and colourful place in the middle of the main street of Itacare. A beautiful surf spot on the edge of the Atlantic Rain forest.
We are very close to the beaches and trails and in the heart of all the bars, restaurants and parties, but have plenty of space for you to get some peace and quiet as well.
We stayed in lots of hostels before starting our own and have tried to add all the good bits into one hostel, as well as our own personal touches.

Brilliant. Loved my stay I heard about this hostel from a friend who had stayed before. Peter and Debs, the owners, made us feel so welcome and were always on hand to point us in the direction of something to do. The hostel itself is clean and looks stunning. The hammock area is simply the best place in the world to relax. All the other guests were chilled out, and very friendly. The community atmosphere only added to an already perfect stay.
