| Location | •Hostel is located at city center, within walking distance to Mao statue, Tianfu square, people's park, old Catholic church, Wenshu monastery. • Many shopping malls such like Carrafour, Pacific department store and many restaurants such like famous Mapo tofu restaurant, Dandan noodle restaurant, Zhong's dumpling restaurant are all attached by. • Hostel is located right next to the main road (Ren Min Lu) of Chengdu, the developed bus lines can bring you to any where of city. Just across the street to hostel, the 'Luomasi Metro Station' is almost completed which will be put in use on oct 2010, it will be even more convenient to get around this city till then. • By taxi from north railway station: About 12 Yuan, get off at Yang Shi Jie Street. We are located at '16#, Yang Shi Jie Street' across the street to 'Luomasi Metro Station' (Metro will be put in use on Oct, 2010) • By bus No.55 from north railway station: Take bus No.55 from 'public bus terminal west', get off at 7th bus stop (Xi Yu Long Jie Stop), then walk back to 'Yang Shi jie'. It's about 8-12 minutes walk. • By bus No.16 from north railway station: Take bus No.16 from 'public bus terminal west', get off at 6th bus stop (Ren Min Zhong Lu Er Duan Stop) right in front of the 'Watsons Store'. Then walk down the south (you'll cross a street very soon) until you reach to 'Luomasi' Intersection. Cross the street again then turn right into Yang Shi Jie. It's about 8-12 minutes walk. • By bus No.300 from north railway station: Take bus No.300 from 'public bus terminal east', get off at 6th stop (Ren Min Zhong Lu Er Duan Stop) right in front of the 'Watsons Store'. Then walk down the south (you'll cross a street very soon) until you reach to 'Luomasi' Intersection. Cross the street again then turn right into Yang Shi jie. It's about 8-12 minutes walk. • By bus No.300 from Airport: Bus 300 is the public bus runs between north railway station and Airport. It cost about 8 Yuan to get to 'Ren Min Zhong Lu Er Duan Stop' (near Bank of China, and opposite to 'Watsons Store'). Then walk back down south until you reach to 'Luomasi' intersection, turn right into Yang Shi Jie Street. • By bus No.303 from Airport: Bus 303 is the non-stop Airport shuttle bus, bus ticket cost 20 Yuan, it brings you from Airport to downtown directly (unlike bus 300, it stops many times on the way to downtown) near Minshan Hotel. From there take a taxi to our hostel which costs about 12 Yuan. • P.s: The price for catching taxi to our hostel varies due to the traffic condition. |

Great and helpful staff, good food, shabby room My girlfriend and I stayed here 3 nights. We booked a room in another hostel, but ended up here instead. That hostel apparently does not offer private rooms, even though they say that they do! If you book a room in that hostel you will automatically get placed in Lazybones, which is their sister hostel. We got an airport pickup for 50 rmb, which is quite a reasonable price. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They speak fairly good English and are willing to help you out. It is possible to order breakfast, but the choices are limited. The hostel offers various tours. We took the panda research center tour and got there just to catch them during feeding time. The room in the hostel was, on the other hand, mildly put pretty shabby. The furniture was old, the carpet seemed dirty, and the room had a funny odour. There were wierd noises coming from the bathroom, we had a cockroach on the nightstand and a mouse or maybe even something bigger ran under our feet in the cafeteria. — Proteus (2010-10-01)
