Holly's Hostel in Chengdu … Hi, Mark from Australia here. I stayed at Holly's and it was just fantastic. It's 2-star but the service and friendliness are as good as it gets. It seemed Holly (yes, she real!) could do or get just about any service or tour for you for anything, anywhere, at good prices. She arranged a pick-up at Chengdu airport for six of us, with baggage too, for 150 RMB [Renminbi, or "People's Currency"]. Even if you can afford "better" I recommend trying a few days here for a real China experience!
Mix Hostel Chengdu Guesthouse in Chengdu … The best hostel in China by far! This place seems very new so is spotlessly clean and the staff are keen to be friendly and helpful, even by western standards. I really enjoyed the Chengdu area and this hostel made it all the better with great, free amenities. Many people going from or heading to Lhasa if that helps.

Mix Hostel Chengdu Guesthouse in Chengdu … Good clean rooms, the cheapest in Chengdu. This place has friendly helpful staff, clean bathrooms and toilets (hot private showers!). Nice communal area with a water feature and traditional Chinese decor. It's a good place to either meet people if you want to, or there are nooks and crannies to just chill out and read. Good Internet connection, cheap bike hire, and pretty much everything you could want from a hostel — keep up the good work! One of the nicest places I've stayed at in China.
Holly's Hostel in Chengdu … I stayed in holly's hostel on April during my China tour. It newly decorated, good service and reasonable price attracted me. The building full of Chinese ancient style and feelings of go home. It was situated in the downtown of the city, so it is convenient to travel and shopping.
Holly's Hostel in Chengdu … this is best hostel i was stay in China. all of the facilities is new. room is clean. staffs is friendly. the rooms not near the street so is quietude in the evening. I staying this hostel about ten days. feel like in my home.

Holly's Hostel in Chengdu … I spent Feb. 2007 in China. Most of it in ChengDu. I stayed here upon the recommendation of a chinese friend who lives in ChengDu. The staff was the best -- very friendly and very helpful. Great location -- I walked many places from there. And when I had friends to act as my tour guides, buses were easily accessible. Rooms were very clean as well.

It's amazing, the contrast between the street on which the hostel is located and the nearby modern, noisy streets. You can just sit, chilling and drinking tea in the traditional Chinese courtyard, all day long. Chengdu is great. I've never seen such a carefree city in the world. It's elegant.
HI - Chengdu - Dragon Town Hostel in Chengdu … I liked the hostel. I made two friends from England. They are very lovely. They will travel to Shanghai from Chongqing and go to Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand, and then back to England in January 2005.
Holly's Hostel in Chengdu … Great place! I spent time here more than a month now, and it feels like home. Nice restaurant -- food available almost any time -- all services needed for a tourist available, and most importantly -- very friendly, honest, and helpful staff. Really can be recommended.
Your Inn in Daocheng … I was staying at this hostel in October 2006 after I visited the beautiful place Yading. The owner Mr. Meng is very nice guy. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The price is reasonable. I strongly recommend everyone to go to Daocheng, and stay at this hostel. This is very good hostel!
