The Hostelz.com Review
Hostel Bambu Argentina is just one of the many hostels in the small town of Puerto Iguazu, home to those wanting to see the Argentinean side of Iguazu falls.
The Location
The location of this hostel is great. It is literally two blocks from the bus station. The bus will also pass the hostel on the way to the station so keep your eyes open if you want to save yourself the short walk. The main reason for anyone going to Puerto Iguazu is to go to the waterfalls, which can be done by taking regular buses from the station, again another advantage of its location.
Rooms and Bathrooms
The rooms feel really special in this hostel. This is perhaps because they are a different shape to the normal square rooms you find in most hostels. Many of them are far longer than they are wide, which means they are only able to fit beds on one side of the rooms. This is great as it means there is plenty of room to move around, and also good distance between the beds, which is great when there are snorers about.
Common Spaces
There really isn't much of a lounge in this place, only a couple of bean bags and a small sofa with a television. However it makes up for it with a huge kitchen, outside bar, and patio tables on the front patio, all of which are very comfortable.
Summary
The hostel is exceptionally clean, offers plenty of room, and has staff who know everything there is to know about getting the most from your trips to the waterfalls. We recommend this hostel very highly.
