HI - Puerto Iguazú - The Hostel Inn Iguazú in Puerto Iguazu … Highly recommend to anyone. It has been renovated and the rooms are in excellent condition. Staff are friendly and always willing to provide recommendations. Tourist desk area is great -- there is always someone working there late to book your activities. Pool is big and most refreshing and bar is well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly go back. Excellent music throughout the night for the late nighters.

HI - Puerto Iguazú - The Hostel Inn Iguazú in Puerto Iguazu … it is the nicest hostel i have ever stayed at. iguazu is a beautiful city with rich, red, fertile ground and hot humid microclimate. if you are really on a budget then i could understand that you wouldn't want to have to take a taxi elsewhere to eat less expensive food. but a taxi is like five bucks american into the city, and i think that is affordable. overall, it is a beautiful hostel with super friendly staff, great people, beautiful grounds, and good (if not particularly cheap) food.

Las Tinajas Boardinghouse in Puerto Iguazu … This is a basic hostel but has a lovely air about it and is nice and clean. The people that run it have been incredibly helpful and if needed speak English. The breakfast is the basic fare of rolls and jam with tea or coffee to wash it down. All rooms have a private bathroom and comfy beds. It is a short walk into the centre for restaurants and shops and an even shorter walk to the nearest parilla which was exceptional. The bus stop is at the end of the street to take you to the falls. What more could you want! Ok, it doesn't have a pool but if you can live without that i would head here for much more intimate and interesting experience.

Timbó Posada in Puerto Iguazu … This guesthouse has good private rooms and a dorm. Everything was very clean. The young man working there was pleasant and helpful. The best part is the lovely garden area where you could sit by the pool and have your breakfast or check email for free.

Hostel Park Iguazú in Puerto Iguazu … This hostel, where I was in july 2007, was very nice. It's in the centre of Iguazu, near the bus station, a great bakery, and a supermarket. The double room is great. It's being cleaned every day and you have your own private bathroom. Even your bed will be made up! You can listen to your own music in a common room and when you will get to the airport, all you have to do is ask at the reception and they will bring you immediately!

HI - Puerto Iguazú - The Hostel Inn Iguazú in Puerto Iguazu … Almost everything - but not quite - is perfect with this hostel. It's expensive compared to what you can find in the centre of town, almost double as much. You will need to take a taxi or bus to get there. Because of the distance from the centre of town you will have to pay the slightly expensive prices for dinners. If you can cope with these disadvantages, this is the perfect hostel in which to recharge after the hellishly long bus journey you probably had to make to get to Puerto Iguazu. The rooms, beds, and large common room are in excellent condition. There is an alluring swimming pool which you probably will find yourself in every day, washing off the dust after your visits to the Iguazu waterfalls. Book exchange, free internet, a pool table that has seen better days, and a ping-pong table in a sometimes lit room offer plenty to do in the evenings. Breakfast is acceptable. Hostel Park Iguazú in Puerto Iguazu … Best location for a hostel in Puerto Iguazu, hands down. Nice staff, though little english spoken. Double rooms are ridiculously cheap and air conditioned (you'll want it, trust me!). Only downside is that I couldn't find a kitchen while I was there and the breakfast wasn't very plentiful (some juice and toast). Still, for location, security, and cleanliness, I would highly recommend this hostel!

Las Tinajas Boardinghouse in Puerto Iguazu … we stayed in a private room here and it was fine. breakfast was simple and it is close to a supermarket and a couple restaurants. you can easily walk into town and the bus to the falls (argentina and brasil) can be hailed on the main road two hundred meters away.

Hosteria los Helechos in Puerto Iguazu … The hotel is good, above all if you have a room with air conditioning, but the service was very unfriendly (the girl in the reception should get another job). It is a disadvantage for the hotel. I would look for something else, there are plenty of nicer hotels at the same price.
