The Hostelz.com Review
Don't be misled by the name -- Lollis Homestay does not fit the homestay category, but is simply a hostel. They do have perks -- laundry service, free use of bikes, and they serve breakfast for an additional fee.

This unique hostel is great for the traveler looking for an inexpensive stop for the night. Each dorm room in the hostel is decorated to the nines with varying themes. Their common areas are rather small and while the bathroom in our area was spacious, it only accommodated one person at a time. More communal bathrooms are available on lower floors. The facilities are well maintained and clean and the kitchen is stocked with more cooking equipment than its four burners could accommodate in one evening.

The small common areas and no TV mean that the social atmosphere is limited. The lounge seems to be the smoking area of the building which for this non-smoker was turn-off. Smoking is not allowed in rooms. Young and old alike could be found under this roof.

Lollis is located in an area of town full of coffee shops and bars and is a reasonable walk from the new train station (not the Main station -- need public transit from there). There is also a great park one block away that is a great place to take your dinner and hang out for the evening.

5  Better than house better than a house, every floor every room are different, the staff easy and very helpfully, the position is in the best part of the city, without any doubts is one of the best hostel I have been.  , italian ()
4  Good atmosphere, nice people I've been to Lolli's for the second time and i do really like it. you can meet people from all over the world and listen their stories. the workers at Lollis always trying to help you with any problem you have, like mine was, to find a flat. i am really grateful to stay here. so just try it out, because if you'd go to an hilton hotel, you'd miss out a lot.  , German ()
5  Simply the best what to say more -- great location and a feeling like home. thanks for the stay, I will be back.  , Germany ()
5  Nicely decorated, helpful staff, and it's got a great location in the Dresden Neustadt (new city) where the nightlife is. After the German reunification, the communists moved out of the Dresden Neustadt part of town, leaving behind many vacant buildings open to punk and hippie squatters. It's a very unique area, known as the Bunte Republik Neustadt.  ()
5  This is the most fancy and clean hostel I have stayed in after five months of backpacking. It's truly amongst the best.  ()
4  Great hostel! The staff were lovely and helpful. The Internet isn't free anymore, but you can get bikes for free, so you're able to visit the ancient city by bike. The hostel is located in a cool area, with nightlife and crazy alternative shops (Gothic, Asian, etc.)!  ()
5  No complaints whatsoever. It has friendly staff who can speak English, free internet (that is a good thing!!!), and it's easy enough to get to the main city historical centre. It's located in a really cool area of town, too. All around it's a great place where I met some good people. Not too big, which makes it cozy.  ()
4  Apart from the renovations, this hostel is stunning! Nice location, great ambience and very helpful staff. Give it a couple of months then go have a great time in a cozy lil' hostel.  ()
