San Demetrio Budget Rooms is a nice idea of a little room to let placed in an oldest baroque building of Catania (1694)and is located in the historical center,just on the main street 'Via Etnea'.We offer you a nice stay in our big and comfortable room with a beatiful balcony where if you like and the weather is good we will can give you a nice breakfast,all rooms has a private bathroom inside,tv and air condition.Some rooms has balcony on the courtyard side and others rooms has balcony on the street side.if you know the history of this building search on internet : Palazzo Massa san Demetrio in Catania...we are located there !

Not recommended. They advertise big rooms with high ceilings but the single room I booked was tiny, claustrophobic and with low ceiling. They offered me a bigger room for 45€. At checkout, they told me that the 10% I prepaid to hostelsclub does not apply to this room and is lost! After one hour of discussion they finally gave in but refused to give me a receipt, probably to avoid taxes. Also the rooms are not isolated and I could listen all night to TV of my neighbors.
