The Hostel is good but to be honest they twist things Almost all the sights say that you can use the facilities of the hostels pool. when you enquire about this they deny all the websites. You cannot use the pool! — Bronwen , South Africa (2009-10-28)

Well, it's a Hostel. Nothing more, nothing less. The rooms are clean, there is sometimes strange smell in the corridors, and the staff is lazy but friendly. This hostel is a good starting point to discover the city. — Iska , Germany (2007-05-14)

The Zhaolong is behind the hotel of the same name, but you won't see more than their trashbins. It is right in the westerners ghetto of Sanlitun (nan)lu. I suggest staying here perhaps for a night if you feel a bit homesick; stay elsewhere in the city the rest of the time, 'cause that's the reason for coming to china, right? As for the quality, the lobby and coffee room are neat, but my room (I booked a single) was like a prison -- bare bones and with only a single barred window that looked directly into an adjacent storage room. And the toilets/showers are only just acceptable. No points for fun, but it's no dump. 2 stars, plus 1 because of the location. By the way I was here in October of 2004. — Willem de Bruijn (2006-08-02)

I stayed here for a week. It's all right, a little bit expensive if you are staying here alone, but other than that it's fine. The room smelled bad, though. — Anonymous (2004-12-02)
