I've been a YHA member for 30 years and have traveled extensively around the world and I have never stayed at such a wonderful place as the Grampians YHA. The lay out and planning is superb -- spotlessly clean with 1st class kitchens and a friendly atmosphere, which have left a lasting impression on me. This is definitely a place to stay if you are coming to Victoria.

Incredible

Awesome hostel. Very clean, friendly, and social with excellent facilities (Plasma TV, big garden, Lounge) and free bicycles and herbs from their garden. Kangaroos and deer are running around free in the backyard. Friendly staff.

I only stayed here one night but I loved how organized and peaceful this place was. In the morning I could even see some wallabies! but most of all i loved the Places where you just could read a book or look a film. I loved this hostel, it was a very peaceful one. I would certainly come back! (by the was very nice facilities also.)

Totally amazing. Fresh herbs and free-range eggs left free of charge by the lovely owners who were so friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay there again and again. Beautiful setting, great hostel.

We've been two months in Australia and the YHA Eco-Hostel is the best of all!!! Quiet, extra-clean, great staff. The building is wonderful, everything is clean, great bathrooms, rooms are spacious, beds are real beds, and the kitchen is very well equipped. You'll love this hostel, and the Grampians are beautiful.

This hostel was planned so intelligently it has two nice living rooms with fireplaces, two open and very, very clean kitchens and a "chicken-hilton." :-) The daily weather forecast is printed out every morning and staff are very helpful with finding hiking tracks and organized tours. Thanks for a very nice stay this is how a hostel must be. Go on like this, and you travelers keep it as it is.

This hostel is beautiful. It is clean tidy and eco-friendly. The sleeping areas are quiet and it is pitch black at night. I would highly recommend this place.
