The closest international airport is in Cartagena which is at about 3 hours bus ride. The bus company called Expreso Brasilia is the most comfortable way of travelling and leaves frequently from the bus terminal in Cartagena. We suggest to get an early bus. From Cartagena you'll need to get the bus (Expreso Brasilia only accepts cash and will ask for ID) to San Onofre which is the closest town to Rincon del Mar. From San Onofre you can get a moto-taxi or taxi ride to Rincon del Mar, there will be people offering those rides by the bus stop. This will be another 20 to 30 minutes ride on a semi-dirt road. If you are coming form Medellin by bus you can get one that will stop in San Onofre also. Once you get to Rincon del Mar, ask your driver to take you to La Punta beach. But remember that the last bit you will have to walk as no cars are allowed on the beach.
