• 1. From Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru:
• a) By Air-Conditioned Bus: Exit the Kempegowda International Airport and walk towards the Airport Bus Stop which is approximately 100mts in front of the airport. Ignore the touts and taxi drivers. You will find bright green/blue/red air-conditioned Volvo buses. The bus you need to board is “KIAS4 or KIAS4A”. You may buy the ticket inside the bus from a conductor. The stop is “Kodihalli”. The fare is approximately Rs260/- and has to be paid in cash. The distance is about 42KM and hence takes approximately 1 ½ hours in traffic. The staff of the Volvo buses is usually friendly and will help you identify your stop if you ask them. Once you get off the bus, you will see a small lane (5th Cross) perpendicular to the main road. Once you enter this lane, you will have to take the first left, and our place is the second building on the right. We are less than a minutes’ walk from the bus stop.
• b) By Airport Taxi: Exit the Kempegowda International Airport and walk towards the Airport Taxi Stop which is approximately 50mts in front of the airport. You will usually find a small queue that you need to join. Airport taxis (Companies like Meru, Easy Cabs, KSTDC) are also very convenient & safe, especially if are traveling in groups of two or more. Again, avoid touts who may approach you while you look for the queue. You can ask the taxi to take you to Empire Restaurant on 80 Feet Road in Indiranagar. Once you reach Empire, which should be on your right side, take the first left onto 9th Main and go down this street till you reach 4th E Cross.
• c) By Uber Cabs: If you have the Uber cabs and a functioning Indian phone number, this option will cost you approx Rs700/- Just make sure you enter the hostel name as the destination and the Uber should drop you right at our doorstep.
• 2. From KSR Bangalore City Railway Station / Interstate Bus Station:
• The City Railway station, the interstate bus station, the Majestic city bus station and the Majestic Metro Interchange are located in the same area. If you are arriving from out of state, chances are that train / bus will terminate in this location
• a) You can catch bus #138 #314D or #314B from the city bus station and buy a ticket from the conductor in the bus to Kodihalli. (Do not take any other bus). You will see an ICICI Bank at the bus stop. We are exactly on the lane behind this bank. The frequency of this bus is approx 1 every hour.
• b) You can catch the Metro from Majestic to Indiranagar. The Metro runs from 5:30AM to 11PM and single journey tickets can be bought from the station itself. Once you arrive at Indiranagar, you can either catch a bus #138, #190 and #139 to Kodihalli Bus Stop. You will see an ICICI Bank at the bus stop. We are exactly on the lane behind this bank.
• You can also walk for 15-20 min from the Indiranagar Metro Station. Just ask for directions to the Empire Restaurant on 80 Feet Road Indiranagar. Most people will know this. When you reach Empire, which should be on your right, take the first left after Empire onto 9th Main. Walk till the end of this street past Leon Grill and Frank Ross Pharmacy. We are the 2nd last building to the left.
