Skadarlija Sunrise hostel is a pleasant hostel in the famous Skadarlija neighborhood of Belgrade. It is located on the second floor of an apartment building. There is another unrelated hostel in the same building called the White Owl Hostel.
The Location
Skadarlija used to be a Bohemian neighborhood; today, with its cozy cobblestone streets full of bars and restaurants, it is a major draw for tourists. The whole area is a popular hangout area with countless cafes, bars, and eateries.
Rooms and Bathrooms
The dormitory rooms are neither too big nor too small and each dorm bed has a privacy curtain. Rooms also contain a locker for each guest. There is a bathroom with a shower and toilet and another small toilet in the hallway. As it is not a very big hostel, the facilities seem to be enough, most of the time.
Common Spaces
Common spaces consist of a living room area next to the reception where there are couches for guests to relax and get to know other guests. There are also two computers free for guests to use. At the end of the hall, there is a rather large kitchen with several tables and cooking facilities. The kitchen is quite well equipped. There is also a laundry machine in the kitchen; it is possible to do a load if you need it, for a small fee. Additionally, there is a small balcony next to the kitchen, which is also used as a smoking area. In winter guests and staff alike tend to forget to close this door, which makes the living area quite cold. This is something that should be improved. Finally, there is a garden in the ground floor, which is shared by another hostel in the upper floor of the same building. In summers it is a popular hangout area for guests.
Summary
All in all, Skadarlija Sunrise hostel is a good option to stay in Belgrade. Belgrade has a small army of hostels at various locations of the city, ranging from amazing to deplorable. Skadarlija Sunrise is certainly one of the better ones that is on offer in this city of hostels. And with its strategic location at the Skadarlija Street, the hostel can be said to have a bonus in terms of ease of access to the city's attractions.

We are a social hostel, designed especially for backpackers and solo travellers. During the week we have free day activities, meals & evening events to bring our guests together.
Reveller’s is located in the heart of the city, in Belgrade’s famous bohemian quarter. We’re surrounded by some of the best bars, cafes and traditional kafanas.
Our common areas are spacious and include; a chill-out lounge, a large & well-equipped kitchen (with balcony), and the highlight..

Location and Contact
Location
• Reveller’s is located in the heart of the city, in Belgrade’s famous bohemian quarter. We’re surrounded by some of the best bars, cafes and traditional kafanas.
• Directions are as follows:
• From Nikola Tesla Airport
• Transfer: We can arrange an airport transfer so a driver will be waiting for you in the arrival area. Please send us your flight details up to 2 days before your arrival. The rate is 20 EUR per transfer (up to 4 persons).
• By Taxi: In front of the airport you can take a taxi, the price should be around 2000 RSD (17 EUR). You can also buy a taxi voucher from a stand inside the airport for a fixed price to avoid getting ripped off. Be aware of taxi frauds and ask for approximate price before you get into a taxi.
• By Bus: In front of the departure entrance there are two bus lines. The first is the A1 shuttle bus that goes every 30 minutes in the summer. The ticket price is 300 RSD. You can buy the ticket from the driver, and we recommend having cash. The bus then goes directly to Slavija Square. From here you can take bus 24, 31 or trolley bus 19, 21, 22 and 29 to Republic Square.
• As of Summer 2019 there is major construction at Republic Square. Please look at the walking directions in advance, or have an offline map downloaded on Maps.me or Google.
• As a rough guide: walk to the corner of National Theatre and turn left, walk 100 meters down Francuska street, then turn right onto Simina street. After 50 meters you'll reach Skadarska, and your Reveller's is just around the corner to your left.
• The second bus option is the public bus 72 that leaves approximately every 40 min. The ticket price is 170 RSD and you can buy it from the driver. Get off at last stop (Zeleni Venac), and make a right through the underground passage. Continue through the passage until the end, and walk straight for a little over 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Republic Square. From there, follow the walking directions above.
• From Belgrade Main Bus Station
• The easiest way to the hostel is on foot as it only takes 20 minutes, however there is a steep incline on the way up. Follow Milovana Milovanovica street until you arrive at Balkanska. Turn up Balkanska and walk the full length of the street. You will arrive at Hostel Moskow (Hostel Moskva). Turn left onto Terazije and follow it straight for around 200m. You will then arrive at Republic Square, and can follow the walking directions mentioned above.
• From Belgrade Centar Train Station (Prokop)
• Walk up the stairs from the station towards the main street. From here, head right along the main road for 450m. You should then arrive at Ortopedski Zavod bus station. Take bus 44 towards Dunav Stanica which comes approximately every 30 minutes. Take the bus 6 stops to Dusanova, then walk up Francuska street 100m. Turn left onto onto Gospodar-Jevremova, then turn right onto Skadarska. Reveller's is 100m away on your right-hand side.
• Please be aware that overnight trains coming/going from Belgrade are known to have thieves on board. Our advice is to avoid taking overnight trains.
• If you are travelling to/from neighbouring cities such as Budapest, Sarajevo or Timisoara, we can help arrange a door-to-door shuttle service which is usually the same price (or cheaper) than regular buses. Send us an email for more information!
• Keep in mind that all forms of transportation need to be paid in RSD only! We recommend having cash (especially from the airport), however you can often tap your card on public transport to pay. You should either exchange or withdraw small amount of money from the nearest exchange office or ATM. Keep in mind that the exchange offices at the Airport and Main Train & Bus Stations take commission, and you will get a better rate in the city center.
