Two in one: A silent retreat close to the vivid city centre.
Our hostel is located at a silent sideroad, right in the heart of a vivid and busy area, including a food market and a craftsmen market. In 10-20 minutes driving on a "marshrutka" (these are mini-busses, the most common public transport vehicles in Dushanbe) or a shared taxi you are in the city centre or the airport. There is no change. Walk 50 meters to the city's main road "Rahmon Nabiyev", get the marshrutka nr. 2 or 19, pay 2 TJS and soon you are there! (For the airport, just take nr. 7, also for 2 TJS.)

Get the most recent updates about the security and weather situation from our experienced international staff, which speaks five languages fluently: English, German, Russian, Tajik and French (well, the last one is level B2 only). There is plenty of space with comfy seating accommodation for it. Gather around the tables with the traditional Tajik mats (curpacha) around them in your dormitories, make yourself comfortable in the lounge / dining area next to the stove and kitchen or enjoy the fresh air outside on our garden terrace.
Things to do, things to see and where to eat.
If you prefer action rather than talking, make use of our free bike-rent service. If you are not afraid about the traffic in Dushanbe, cycle to the busy vegetable and fruit market, which can be reached in 5 minutes cycling. If you prefer walking, go to the wide Dushanbenka river (a 5 minutes walk) and stroll along it's long promenade - in the evenings a popular place for the few joggers here in Dushanbe. Or just join some other travelers and find your favorite restaurant or snack bar in the surrounding area. There are plenty of them!

There are 2 shared toilets and 2 shared showers. The kitchen, fully equipped (including a fridge and 2 stove plates) can be used at any time. The washing machine costs 2 US$.
Parking: plenty of secured parking space!
As our hostel is located 60 meters from the main road of Dushanbe, it's a very advantageous place for travelers with a car or camper. We offer you plenty of free secured (security camera!) parking space right in front of our hostel and a cycle rack for several bikes in our large courtyard.

• From the city CENTRE / train station / car terminal, take marshrutka 2 or 19 in direction to '1. Sovetskaya'. Marshrutkas are these mini-busses. Pay 2 TJS and ask the driver to let you out at 'Korea Avto'. There, look out for our waymarker 'Latifa Hostel' (It's on the same building). Walk 60m and you are here.
• From the AIRPORT, take marshrutka 7 and follow the above instructions.
• Another option is to pay around 20 TJS and use a TAXI. In the evening / night prices are higher (25-30 TJS).
